Day 16 tackles procrastination, again. The theme is to tackle the most dreaded task first. Whether that is the hardest or the least interesting, if it has to be done, do that one first. That is a lesson so easily forgotten, it bears repeating: do the hardest thing first.
This requires some evaluation: what is the hardest task? That will change from day to day, but there is my dreaded task list: mopping the floor, decluttering, doing a week’s worth of laundry. The laundry is not so bad when I split it up, I usually sort every day and try to do a load then too. But mopping takes forever because I procrastinate, and I almost never declutter. So I will try to tackle these quickly, and reward myself after.
My tasks tomorrow:
Do the hardest thing first.
Tidy the kitchen before bed
Work on my mega project.
What is the “hardest thing” for you?
