More than avoiding “anything you couldn’t make in your own kitchen” I am focused on avoiding processed convenience foods as the month begins. So for breakfast today I’m having sourdough bread that my dad made, with freezer jam I made this summer. And real butter, not spreadable margarine. Coffee (I’m trying honey instead of sugar, I’ll try unprocessed alternatives if the option isn’t too difficult), and eggs. And maybe the cheerios my toddler is force feeding me.
